Natural light falls across the polished floor. Fresh flowers stand near the grand piano, and the half-round staircase rises through the Hall without ever turning back on itself.

Beyond it are doors with ordinary handles, each leading somewhere different. The crystal elevator is here as well, quietly waiting among them.
